The Chemical Dependency Outpatient Program at the Center for Recovery is an extended outpatient recovery program available to patients who want to begin transforming their lives by abstaining from alcohol and substances. The program runs five days per week, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and consists of four specialized group sessions per day. The Chemical Dependency Outpatient Program utilizes traditional therapeutic programs and services, such as 12-step groups, mental and behavioral health counseling, family sessions, and case management, as well as non-traditional and holistic services, such as yoga, acupuncture, meditation, and mindfulness
The Center for Recovery’s Opioid Treatment Program uses medication-assisted treatment to assist patients dependent on opiates and opioids abstain from illegal drug use. The program seeks to engage patients with opioid use disorders into a productive, recovery-oriented lifestyle. This OASAS-licensed program is the only provider of methadone maintenance services in Orange County, NY. In addition to medication-assisted treatment, services such as counseling, case management, and other supports are available to clients in the program. Program hours are 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
The Day Treatment Program at the Center for Recovery is designed to help patients maintain their sobriety and prevent relapses. The program consists of one-hour group sessions that are offered Monday through Thursday, beginning at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 5 p.m. or 6 p.m. Group sessions focus on equipping participants with the tools they need for sustained recovery. Furthermore, we work with community organizations to refer clients to other programs and services that can help them maintain a productive life that is free of substance abuse, including vocational skills training, job placement, and others.
